Our Parish

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY

St. Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Catholic Church of Minnesota, part of the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago, was officially established as a Mission Parish by Mar Jacob Angadiath, Bishop of the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Diocese of Chicago, in November 2009. Over the years, our parish has flourished, becoming a parish that embraces faith, tradition, and fellowship.

Our community has been linging for ist own church building and on July 27, 2024, we celebrated a historic milestone with the rededication of our church, marking the beginning of a new chapter as a fully established parish with our own dedicated church building. This joyous occasion reflects the unwavering faith and dedication of our parish community, as well as the blessings of our patroness, St. Alphonsa.

Grounded in the teachings of Christ and the rich traditions of the Syro-Malabar Church, we strive to create opportunities for worship, sacraments, and faith formation, ensuring spiritual nourishment for all. We are committed to upholding these traditions while promoting the holistic growth of the next generation, empowering them to become faith-filled, successful individuals who live out Christ's values.

We warmly invite you to join our loving and growing parish family. Together, let us continue our journey of faith, guided by the intercession of St. Alphonsa and the teachings of Christ.
