Cherupushpa Mission League (CML)
The Cherupushpa Mission League (CML) is an organization dedicated to fostering and nurturing the missionary spirit among God’s children. CML was established in churches across Kerala as a tribute to Saint Therese of Lisieux, a Doctor of the Church. Known as the "Little Flower of Jesus," Saint Therese demonstrated a profound devotion to God and prayer from an early age.
At the age of fifteen, she joined the Carmelite religious order, where she devoted herself to deep prayer for missions worldwide. Her life and legacy are especially honored on Mission Sunday. Tragically, she passed away nine years later after enduring a severe battle with tuberculosis. Before her passing, she left behind the powerful words: “I will spend my heaven doing good on earth.”
St. Therese of Lísíeux, the “Little Flower,” teaches her “little way” of honoring God by doing simple things with extraordinary love.
